Systems Administrator: Sponsorship Available

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across Microsoft Systems Administration, Office 365, IT User Support, Citrix & VMware support, and strong exposure to Cloud technologies. The role involves deploying and configuring Linux and Windows servers and workstations on OT networks, managing patching and maintenance, considering cybersecurity, and developing automation for consistent deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems Administration: Manage and support Microsoft systems, Office 365, Citrix, VMware, and cloud technologies.
  • Server and Workstation Deployment: Deploy and configure Linux and Windows servers and workstations on OT networks.
  • Software Installation: Install and configure necessary software packages on servers and workstations.
  • Hardware Maintenance: Assemble and maintain computer systems used on OT networks.
  • Patching and Maintenance: Manage and prioritize patching and maintenance of device firmware, OS, and software installations.
  • Cybersecurity: Ensure cybersecurity considerations in new designs, maintenance, and system upgrades.
  • License and Agreement Management: Monitor support agreements and software licenses to ensure proper coverage.
  • Project Coordination: Liaise with internal and external teams to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Automation and Monitoring: Develop automation and monitoring tools to aid deployment processes and maintain installation consistency.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven hands-on experience in Microsoft Systems Administration, Office 365, IT User Support, Citrix, VMware, and cloud technologies.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in deploying and configuring Linux and Windows servers and workstations.
  • Strong knowledge of software installation and configuration.
  • Experience with assembling and maintaining computer systems.
  • Familiarity with patching and maintenance of firmware, OS, and software.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity practices in IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to develop automation scripts and monitoring tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on consistency and accuracy.

Certifications: Relevant certifications in Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, and cloud technologies are a plus.

Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
