Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Shopkeeper to join our team. As a Shopkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our shop, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing sales. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be fluent in English and Spanish, and possess a keen eye for detail.
Duties:
– Greet customers and provide assistance in a friendly and professional manner
– Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
– Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
– Analyze sales trends and adjust inventory levels accordingly
– Process customer transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system
– Provide product recommendations and upsell to increase sales
– Assist with data entry tasks to update inventory records
– Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with patience and professionalism
– Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and suppliers
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
– Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken)
– Excellent phone etiquette skills
– Strong analytical skills to analyze sales data and make informed decisions
– Proficient in data entry tasks with high accuracy
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
– Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining an organized shop environment
– Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers
– Ability to work well in a team environment
– Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required We offer competitive pay rates based on experience.
