Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Floor Manager to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant restaurant the Duchess of Delhi based in Cardiff Bay. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and possess excellent leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
– Manage and lead a team of kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service
– Ensure high standards of food production, presentation, and customer service
– Coordinate with suppliers to maintain quality ingredients and manage stock levels
– Create and implement innovative menus in line with seasonal changes and customer preferences
– Train and develop staff in culinary techniques, bartending skills, and customer interaction
– Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and profit maximisation
– Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and health & safety standards in compliance with regulations
Experience:
– Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
– Strong background in food production, culinary arts, or hotel management
– Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and supervise staff effectively
– Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
– Some experience of working at a supervisor level in a food service environment is essential.
