Overview IT Support Job:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented IT Support professional to join our team. As an IT Support, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems and networks.
Duties of IT Support Role:
– Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
– Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications
– Set up and manage user accounts and permissions
– Assist with the implementation of security measures, such as firewalls and VPN connections
– Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network connectivity problems
– Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues
– Document technical procedures and solutions for future reference
– Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements
Skills:
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
– Proficiency in TCP/IP networking protocols and troubleshooting network connectivity issues
– Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Linux)
– Familiarity with firewall configurations and security best practices
– Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira) for issue tracking and resolution
-Handling of all our social media handles, creating contents that promotes our organisation service delivery.
