Bridge Engineer (Grade 8)
Salary range £33,945 – £38,223 per annum
Full time permanent position
We are seeking to recruit a Bridge Engineer to play a key role in an exciting programme of major highway infrastructure development and regeneration across Lancashire. We are looking for enthusiastic, skilled individuals to join our vibrant and growing team of design engineers.
The post is a permanent full-time role based at County Hall, Preston within the Highways Operations and Design Service. Our flexible working approach allows you to combine office and home working to achieve the best work life balance.
Working within a team of engineers, you will identify and develop design solutions on bridge and highway retaining wall projects including new build, strengthening and maintenance, working to achieve ambitious budget and timescale targets.
You will have knowledge and experience of civil engineering, the use of design standards and specifications, and have a suitable engineering qualification.
If you have good communications skills, a customer focused approach to service delivery and experience of managing or assisting in delivering of bridge projects from scheme inception to completion on site then we would be delighted to hear from you.
