Job Description:
As a Children’s Residential Support Worker at Care 2 Share, you will support young people aged 11-17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Our Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ children’s homes offer a nurturing and supportive environment for both staff and young people.
Responsibilities:
- Key-working with a young person to support their individual needs
- Developing and implementing creative activities to engage young people
- Conducting key-work sessions, creating health care plans and maintaining daily logs
- Collaborating effectively as part of a team
- Acting as a consistent and positive role model
- Providing empathetic, patient, and understanding support to vulnerable young people
- Undertaking shift work, including sleep-ins and waking nights.
- Escorting children and engaging in direct work with them
- Ensuring the safeguarding of children
- Administering medication
- Preparing evening meals

Qualifications:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (preferred but not essential)
- Experience in childcare or related fields is advantageous but not required
- Willingness to train and develop within the role
- Fluent in English (required)
Shifts:
- Day, night, and overnight shifts available
- 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
