The Role: We are seeking a Chef with a profound passion for sushi and Japanese cuisine to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead our kitchen operations, innovate with new recipes, and uphold the highest standards of quality and taste. This role is pivotal in maintaining the excellence that our patrons expect from Monihar Ltd.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and perfect our signature sushi dishes and innovate with new recipes.
- Manage and mentor a team of enthusiastic kitchen staff.
- Ensure excellence in food quality and presentation.
- Engage in the evolution of our menu offerings, reflecting both tradition and innovation.
- Adhere to the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Oversee inventory management and procurement of kitchen supplies.
- Collaborate with the management team to support the restaurant’s goals and vision.
Requirements:
- A rich background as a Chef, with a specialty in sushi and Japanese cuisine.
- Leadership experience with a collaborative spirit.
- A flair for creativity and a meticulous eye for detail in food preparation.
- Knowledgeable about food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
- The ability to maintain composure and excellence in a high-energy environment.
- Culinary certifications or equivalent experience.
