An exciting position has become available for a full time Care Support Worker to join a friendly team based in Scotland. This is with grade “A” Employer. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to work with either vulnerable adults, Old age people and people with dementia who have learning disabilities, and/or complex needs within the area and you will have the great opportunity to work overtime. We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated care worker to join our team in Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients on a daily basis. Responsibilities:
Involvement with writing residents’ care plans
Providing information to family members regarding the care plan
Ensuring that the resident’s needs and wishes are met
Working with other health and social care professionals to provide holistic care
Recording and reporting essential information in the residents’ daily reports accurately and immediately (communication systems, care and health monitoring, accident and incident reports)
Administering medication under supervision (as detailed in their individual medication administration record)
Gently encouraging residents to get involved with recreational activities
Giving feedback to health and social care professionals
Helping with washing and dressing
Assisting with feeding and mealtimes
Finding out and knowing residents’ interests and needs.
General housekeeping such as tidying residents’ private bedrooms and communal areas
Supporting each resident’s physical and mental wellbeing through activities.
Assisting service users with accessing local amenities and accessing leisure opportunities.

Must Have Skills:
Fluent in English.
Patient handling training, Care Certifications.
Compassion, sensitivity and understanding
People skills and excellent communication skills
Patience and the ability to keep calm and work well under pressure/
To be thorough and pay attention to detail.
To be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device.
