We are in search of a business analyst, we are an IT Consulting company with specialties in enterprise solution development. We are a Microsoft Solution Partner, supporting both public and private enterprises on their digital transformation journey.
In this role, you will be responsible for the analysis and documentation of business requirements for the migration of a legacy fax system to the cloud. You will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across various departments to understand current functionalities and identify opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities of the Business analyst:
- Gather and document business requirements for the cloud migration of the bank’s fax system.
- Analyse the existing fax infrastructure, including back-end integrations (NSS) and regional variations.
- Identify and document pain points associated with the current system, such as manual processes, ageing hardware, and integration complexity.
- Develop a comprehensive migration plan that considers data sovereignty regulations, security requirements, and minimal disruption to existing integrations.
- Lead and participate in meetings with stakeholders across various departments (Telecom, Security, Tech, Data Sovereignty, Office 365).
- Document findings and recommendations in clear and concise reports.
- Develop short-term and long-term plans for the migrated system, including potential adoption of digital signature technology.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technical role.
- Experience with process mapping using Microsoft Visio
- Experience within the financial services industry, particularly with bank fax usage, is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
