Assistant Restaurant Manager: Sponsorship Available

MB Chicken, Canada, has launched their first-ever restaurant outside of Canada in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. We have rapid expansion plans to grow the brand throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Managers to operate and support the Restaurant Manager. We are looking for a career-oriented candidate to join our team.

Reports To: Restaurant Manager

Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager at MB Chicken is a pivotal role in supporting the Restaurant Manager in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the restaurant. This position aids in managing the team, upholding customer service standards, maintaining quality, and promoting profitability. A strong blend of leadership, communication skills, and dedication to superior customer service is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support:

Assist the Restaurant Manager in daily restaurant operations.
Uphold Mary Brown’s operational standards and processes.
Monitor food quality, presentation, and safety parameters.
Support in managing inventory and ensuring timely replenishment.

Team Management and Development:

Aid in recruiting, training, and overseeing restaurant personnel.
Assist with staff scheduling to ensure optimal coverage.
Contribute to team training initiatives and development programs.
Address and mitigate any staff-related concerns or conflicts.

Customer Service Excellence:

Collaborate to ensure customers consistently enjoy a positive dining experience.
Assist in promptly and professionally addressing customer feedback or concerns.
Contribute to strategies that enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Financial Oversight:

Assist in monitoring the restaurant’s financial metrics and performance.
Contribute to cost management efforts and profitability initiatives.
Analyze sales trends and provide insights for revenue enhancement.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure adherence to local regulations, as well as company policies.
Participate in safety protocols and ensure staff compliance.
Oversee the proper storage and handling of food items.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the food service industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and team management capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices.
  • Collaborative spirit with an ability to work effectively within a team environment.
